What? Wow, Really?

“There’s an anointing on you to speak and declare.  God will give you the ability to voice that word in a special way.  God says, ‘Don’t stop journaling.  You’re going to write those books.  Don’t second guess yourself.’  So, get ready for those books!”

I remember hearing those prophetic words in 2006 and thinking, “What? Wow. Really?”

I had no idea how or when God would accomplish these things through me, but I immediately clicked with the second-guessing part.  I am the Queen at second-guessing.  In fact, I even second-guessed the prophecy at times!

However, 15 years later, I can tell you with absolute certainty that those words were straight from Jesus Himself.  They started coming to fruition in 2007 when, after a fluke yet God-ordained meeting, I began teaching Bible studies to our staff.  A few years later, the Lord opened doors for me to teach women’s Bible studies at various locations in our hometown, which I did for several seasons.  Then, in 2019, Jesus presented me with an opportunity to convert my Bible studies into booklets, which ultimately produced my “Feet to Faith Series” of Bible studies for women.

I know the full magnitude of this prophecy has yet to be fulfilled, but I wanted to share my story as an encouragement for you to trust God with whatever He placed on your heart to accomplish.  You may not have received a prophetic word through a stranger, but God speaks and leads us using the Holy Spirit as our guide, confirming His plans along the way.
