Are You Afraid of Jesus "Breaking Up" With You

Do you ever worry that you will be rejected by God in the end, despite trusting Jesus for your salvation?  It is so easy to give in to those insecurities, fears, and doubts that creep into our minds at times, is it not?

I have good news for you! If you are a born-again believer who is trusting Jesus by faith for your salvation, then He is with you forever!

When times of doubt come, we cannot trust our feelings.  Feelings are temperamental and misleading.  They are like shifting sand blowing with the wind.  Instead, we must trust and believe what God says, whether our feelings agree with Him or not.

Here are God’s promises to us who believe:

• The Holy Spirit is Our Guarantee of Eternal Life.

  2 Corinthians 5:5; Ephesians 1:13-14

• We Are Protected by The Power of God Through Faith.

  1 Peter 1:3-5; Romans 5:9

• Jesus Will Never Leave or Forsake Us.

  Hebrews 13:5-6; Matthew 28:20

I encourage you to look up each of these verses in your Bible.  Meditate on them.  Memorize them.  Write them down and recite them often.  The next time you feel insecure in your relationship with Jesus and Satan throws all kinds of doubts your way – remember what God promised.
