Are you afraid you have nothing to spiritually give, so you stay hidden in the shadows? I know many of us struggle with feelings of inadequacy like we have nothing of substance to offer others spiritually.  But that is not true!

As born-again believers, each of us has at least one spiritual gift, if not more…

…Gifts to use for God’s glory...
…Gifts to bless others...
…Gifts to further God’s Kingdom!

Do not believe for one second that you have nothing to offer.  The Holy Spirit specifically gave and entrusted you with gifts because He expects you to use them – as He empowers you!

God never calls us to do something He has not already equipped us to do.  He is not like an insensitive father who gives his child a tool but never teaches or helps them use it properly.  He has given us His Word, filled with instructions, and the Holy Spirit to lead and anoint us as we step out by faith.  Therefore, our insecurities and fears usually boil down to a lack of trust in Jesus.

Decide today to start trusting Jesus to lead, use, and empower you with His Spirit.  Then faithfully “go for it” by using your gifts for His glory and others’ good.  Remember: It is not about what we can do for Jesus but about what He can do through us as we yield ourselves and gifts to Him.
