Four Ways Jesus Shows Up

We have all felt alone and abandoned by others at times, and it never feels good.

I am so grateful Jesus promised never to leave us.  He is always with us no matter what we face or go through.

  • He shows up by comforting our fears (Isaiah 41:10)

  • He shows up by reassuring us of His love (1 John 3:1)

  • He shows up by being our refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1)

  • He shows up by offering us His peace (John 16:33)

There have been times in my life when all I could do was cling to Jesus and hang on for dear life.  Those were the best and worst of times all wrapped up into one.  They were the worst because “the bottom dropping out” feeling is never fun.  But they were the best because Jesus was right there with me, stretching out His hand to keep me from sinking.

Have you ever felt like that before?
