Satan Lies To Us Because It Works

Do you know why Satan works so hard to convince you of his lies? It is because it works!  Satan works overtime, trying to convince you that:

• …You are not spiritual enough to be used by God

• …You are not experienced enough to be used by God

• …You are not educated enough to be used by God

• …You are not strong enough to be used by God

• …You are not qualified to be used by God

• ...just to keep you bound in the shadows and never experience the excitement and satisfaction that comes from ministering to others and advancing the Kingdom of God!

The truth is that we, as believers, have already been equipped with everything we need to be used by God, beginning with the indwelling and empowering Holy Spirit.  It does not matter if we are the most inexperienced, uneducated, or fragile Christian in the room.  With the Holy Spirit’s help and our willingness to step out boldly by faith to be used, our spiritual gifts can pack a punch and make an eternal difference in other people’s lives.

Have you been hesitant to venture out of the shadows with your gifts because you have believed Satan’s lies?  If so, it is time to “lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith” (Hebrews 12:1b-2a).

Remember: it is not our ability but our availability that makes all the difference.
