"God Is Faithful" Is An Understatement!

We never imagined Jesus would provide miraculously and all at once!

In 1997, Joe and I resigned from our positions with a well-established ministry to begin our own.

We did not have a ministry facility, money, or multiple donors to accomplish God’s vision and calling. So, we depended on Jesus to provide the funds for the land, large chapel, commercial-sized kitchen, dining room, gymnasium, multiple classrooms, and offices we needed to serve impoverished children and families.

Our only donor at the time pledged $90,000 to help us purchase land, which was incredibly generous and unexpected. After experiencing this unimaginable blessing, we assumed Jesus would provide the remaining funds in gradual increments.

To our surprise, Joe received a call from a man at a local foundation a few weeks later. His organization had provided grant money to the ministry we worked for previously, and he was calling for an update on that project.

After learning from Joe that we resigned and upon hearing our vision to bless the poor, this man offered us a $320,000 grant, no questions asked! He also recommended that his foundation provide us with a loan for several hundred thousand dollars for construction and operating costs, which is entirely backward in the grant world.

Needless to say, Jesus exceeded all our expectations and more. We always knew He would be faithful to provide but never imagined He would do it in such unusual and extraordinary ways.
