Wanting To Be Used More
Often, Jesus will give us a burden to do more for the Kingdom than what we are doing. He might even give us a vision or calling for something different to do...and that can be exciting!
But before He opens those “more” or “new” doors, He must find us consistently faithful with what He has already given us to accomplish.
Luke 16:10 says, “He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much.”
If you want all God has for you with your gifts, be faithful with the small things already entrusted to you. Fulfill them diligently. Be trustworthy. Walk with integrity. In time – when God deems you ready, and His timing is right, the “more” or “new” will come.
In the meantime, know this: God wants to use you. He has specific plans for you. All He requires is your faithfulness.
Are you in a position for “more” or “new”?
